The countdown is only the beginning—the real charm is seeing the whole little woodland come together.
Changing poses, family moments and little scenes keep the daily reveals visually interesting.
Build the collection across a mantel, shelf, tabletop or beneath the tree as December moves along.
Opening one together gives the family something simple to look forward to each day.
Keep the woodland together for the season, then bring it back with your Christmas décor next year.
Open them one by one, build your woodland as Christmas gets closer, then enjoy the complete collection together for the rest of the season.

That was my biggest hesitation. Once I had several together, the different poses and woodland details gave them much more character than I expected. They look especially nice grouped with our Christmas decorations.

I thought they might feel cluttered, but we spread them across the mantel with greenery and pinecones. They became part of the room instead of a pile of small pieces.

The close-up details won me over. They're playful without looking out of place with our winter décor, and I'll pack them with the Christmas decorations to bring back next year.
